Alfa Romeo Stelvio

I still prefer their old model number such as the 33, 75, 145, 155, 159, 164 (aka 168) then the model Giuletta, Giulia and Stelvio.

I read one description on the AR - "Loved by many, owned by a few" which I felt it is very apt.  It is indeed 1 of the cars which in my bucket list to own and should be red before I retire.

I feel the sweet spot for Giulia Super should be at 150-160 range. Around same price as the base A4 and 3er but with better power and specs to entice buyers. If the VES is not the 20k penalty, it should have been at the price.

Veloce to be at 190k range.

Stelvio Super at 180k range.

Provided that there is no VES, I agree on the pricings.

However for this class of saloons, the pricing is unfortunately within the 170-180-ish range.

Even the new facelifted C class is already selling at SGD183k under AD.  [shocked]

Big concern for buyers (especially those like to change cars every few years) is the resale value. And we all know what happens if you need to sell the Alfa lol

Btw I do love the cars, the used management QV at 290k seems quite the steal. But my backside gets itchy in under 2 years, so very hesitatant

I suppose there will be leylong

https://www.forbes.com/sites/michaeltaylor/2019/07/31/another-alfa-romeo-comeback-story-may-be-ending/amp/

FCA analyst Fiat Group World pointed out that Alfa Romeo sales fell to 29,187 in the first half of 2019, while the Ypsilon, based on the budget Fiat Panda, managed 34,691 sales in Italy alone.

Alfa’s sales fell 42 percent year-on-year in Europe, while Lancia’s rose 29 percent with an ancient product that wasn’t terribly good to begin with.

It has been an across-the-board pummeling for Alfa, with its business sales dropping from 33,400 last year to 19,200 this year, while its private sales fell 40 percent.

It was hammered in France, where its sales fell 61 percent, but the biggest concern will be its collapse in its home market of Italy, where it dropped 47 percent to only 14,700 registrations.

Interesting news.. I wonder why is that??

for the branding, the price rather high. but it's inevitable since Alfa went rwd. prices had to go up.

market also no use. ppl are not going to pay those prices for an Alfa.
