Honda Accord 2.4 & Nissan Teana 2.5 disappear in 2017

Anyone notice why agent stop bringing in Honda Accord 2.4, Nissan Teana 2.5 this year? It's not on their lists.

Even MI Subaru Legacy 2.5 stocks is out! Does it mean that only Camry 2.5 is sellable for higher cc Japanese mid size sedan?

These type of Sedans are dying. Compared to any 1.4L - 1.6L turbo petrol/diesel SUV/CUV. You look at those from Merc and BMW,you look at how they are priced compared to these expensive Japanese sedans. The similar max torque kick in at lower rpms(more fun to drive), road tax if petrol engine will be cheaper, petrol now so ex turbo versions are more fuel efficient, car insurance also cheaper... It's just a matter of time they will be gone.

Many buyers have also moved from 2.5 to 2.0 turbo engine.

That's quite convention thinking bro. It's what the market demands and I think those cars drive fine, aside from the irritating lag that you don't get from an NA engine.

 

Good old NA is only fun if the engine are tune right.

Heard they are bringing in euro 6 cars..no further notice of new accord, teana arrival.

Accord and Teana disappeared from the road long before 2017, it is not because of the impending  new turbo model that they discontinue the existing ones. The two models were simply not selling long before this. Both models have been around for far too long without any revamp. 

Camry outsold the two because the model was renewed along the way. Mazda 6 seems to be the most popular model among the Jap brands currently. But that is still a relative comparison, none of the models moves by volume. 

Looking at Euro models, BM 5, Audi A6/7 have been disappearing as well. We dont see that many new car of these models on the road. Even the once very popular e class, we dont see that many of the new model running around.

While the CAT B allocation has been quite sizeable relative to CAT A, I believe many of  the CAT B were used by those lower CC cars, lesser of the above 2.4/2.5 L NA cars anymore.
