Kia Stonic

Following sister car Hyundai Kona's launch, Kia pulled the wraps off the Stonic, their version of the compact crossover. Personally, I prefer the look of this over the Kona although it's clear that the Stonic looks just like a raised up Rio hatchback with an identical interior as the Rio too.

Looks too "normal" for me - like a slightly larger & jacked up hatch back...don't think it will make any impact in the industry.

Does this mean Kia Soul is going to EOL?

I don't think so... that one is a different category... somehow it appeals very much to the younger set in the US and sells very well there... so it's a cash cow in the US... and the US buys lots of cars... so I don't suppose they kill this model...

This seems to take over KIA Soul .

I really dun understand the compact suv segment... small and cheap inside but u pay more just for the raised chassis? Big wheels so expensive ah?

You always pay more for the latest trend right? Same principle I guess... I never understood the crossover segment...

Turbocharged

Lol I also... But seems like it's the trend now. I guess it commands more road presence than a sedan and seen by the young as stylish without being too SUV like.

Sedans are so extinct nowadays...
