The $600 topup from 15" to 17" at outside workshop is refering to those replica or taiwan rims. The stock 17" rim only comes with SX, not likely to be found at outside ws.

 

Other differences between SX and EX include sport pedals, digital a/c, roof rail, cruise control.

Possible shorter life of engine mount due to vibration, carbon build up due to GDI tech.

I’m not sure if this is applicable to Kia. Honda did offer free 1 year road tax and floor mats.

oh yes the rear leg space is quite tight

actually I have a hard time to sit in the driver seat

it seems to be more cramped than jap cars

Driver seat is comfortable for me. Just that the one behind me won’t have space. Then my wife says the car is for us, not for the passengers behind.

Led light not possible unless u wanna void your warranty.

But white light bulb can find outside... but white light is not bright for raining and fogging days... warm halogen is more clear in rainy day..

LED bulb retrofit does not require any ballast but just a physical adapter to fit into the bulb socket. Don't think warranty for entire car will be affected just by changing this part, else white bulb will also affect the warranty. Edited December 16, 2018 by Ceecookie

The rear LED combination lamp is a factory design and cannot be converted from the bulb lamp by buying the LED bulb itself. Unless u order the entire OEM lamp assembly itself.

I suppose the purpose for choosing EX is to save money. Then end up spending to upgrade this and that and try to mimic SX. What's the point then?

LED bulb is unlike HID which require a separate ballast.

 

LED bulbs only require a small driver which is usually already built-in.

 

Check out this 2 videos for more understanding. Remember to aim your headlight properly after installing so as not to blind other drivers.
