The PRC borned woman could also be a naturalised citizen already. ie Singaporean. So nothing wrong for her to be driving PHV. I just find it funny its two cars of the same colour and manufacturer, and SUV too. One big, one small. because she spoke with a strong PRC accent. The PHV is Vezel, other is CRV. I was thinking, PRC can be PHV driver, looks quit blur? If didn't 接客 can they drive the car? Can you rent from uber grab and drive like it like your own? As many as 15 years ago, I've seen an angmo delivery driver to my old workplace. UK, I think the accent was Cockney. We should stop calling every single angmo "expat". They are economic migrants just like those poor third worlders who go to white-majority countries. Such a narrow road and yet cars still allow to stop along that stretch of road? Sometimes wonder what is the reasoning on some design of some roads here?! It happen around 1630hr along Tanjong Katong road. Although the PHV driver did stop and alight to look for the owner, I did not stay behind to see if she left any note behind for the owner. Anyone can drive the car although it belong to the one registered with Uber or Grab. The car is for his/her to use and so family or relatives or friend can use it.
