next generation? Sounds generous. Sounds like they stuck a new exterior shell on a old chassis and engine.

Why not call it the HAZExpander? Come standard with powderful air purifier.

Wao lau. Why still using faux wood? Hopefully the farmers don't try to burn them when they see the wood.

Wah, I can see so many model in this Expander. Can I say that it a value for money model, since one will be paying a low price (Asean model) with look of Lexus, Honda, Renault and Ssangyong?? Hahaha [grin]  [laugh]  [laugh]

OK, to be fair, this Expander is more to compete with other Asean Model such as Daihatsu Terios. Honda BRV, Hyundai Creta, Nissan Livina, Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Avanza, etc.

The name of the 2018 Mitsubishi next generation crossover MPV will be Mitsubishi Xpander using the 4G91 (1496 cc - 1.5 liter) engine with 103 hp.

It will be officially launched on 10 August 2017 in Indonesia GIIAS motor show.  In Indonesia there will be a total of 6 variances (both MT and AT).  For AT models the only offer is 4-speed AT and not Mitz CVT.

Mitz Xpander belongs to the mini MPV segment and to compete with Toyota Avanza, Sienta and Honda Mobilio.
