Another (3rd) draw against a team that match us in every department that I daresay could have the team names interchanged. Jaded and ineffective against a much lower team and JM seems to have lost it. Time for the Board to look at his performance.

Poor jose has never been easy, could it be jinx that he shouldn't get hold of his desired player ( Bale, Rose or Griezmann ) and the under performing players were outclassed by Sotong/

 

He said he could not do anything about Fellaini, Garrick's contract, which by now was a Q mark over his handling of senior players, the future of Blinks, Darmain and Miki's position and despite all thy ha  done for him, were forgotten.

 

And I don't think Ozil or Bale can do wonder to United, too mach persistent injuries & lack of urgency style in Ozil can catapult United in part 2 survival . . . How special is our Special one can strive ? we shall see . . .

a poor ending to the current year for MU...

now we are so far from MC and can forget about being champion...

if smaller club.. wld JM be sacked already?

hope 2018 we can do better...

A much better performance and deserving win, with Pogba being the main man with deft touches.

Without Lukaku and Ibra, the players came alive with the sort of determination in the 2nd half, augurs well for the New Year - GGMU!

yes finally a win! hope Lingard, Martial and Rashford can use this opportunity to show their talents and perform well.

ManU 3 (Valencia / Martial / Lukaku) - Stk 0 (Home)

 

1st half goals by Valencia (9th min) and Martial (37th) made a good start, and although we resorted to short-corners to draw the Stoke players out, I think we should have took the conventional way as it did not work out after few attempts.

 

The 2nd half saw Mata missing two good chances till Lukaku scored in the 71st min to  put the game beyond doubt. Latest news is that Chelsea is also interested in Sanchez, after ManCity turned him down. Glory!

i prefer Roy Keane to Carrick....Keane is a through and through battler in the same mold of Bryan Robson aka Captain Marvel.

Roy Keane's personality is too strong to be an assistant coach for long. not sure how he can stay so long in the Irish coaching team. or maybe hes no longer there? haha

yes very true......he is a no- nonsense leader and would have clashed with management but will be respected and followed by the players.....but he is well-known for his short fuse even against opponents who are much bigger and towers against his figure and that trait usually doesnt augur well within an hierachy.

A listless 1st half with Burnley stringing better passes, till Martial scored the winner in the 54th minute from a pass from Lukaku. Both Matic and to a lesser extent, Mata, had an off day and he was replaced by Fellaini to shore up the midfield. Played ugly but its still 3 points in the bag.
