Lemon Law benefits consumers whom have unintentionally bought a defective or 'lemon' product including second hand cars, and would like a repair, refund or replacement from the seller.

The dealer is clearly trying to rip u off... My advise is stay clear from this dealer since they dont want to do your business and does not want to cover your inspection.

I think you've probably made up your mind already.

But like someone said, buy from an honest, reputable dealer.

I presume the March you saw was this one?

There's quite a few on the market. Slowly look around.

I used to own a FL N16 Nissan Sunny 1.6A.

FC was 10km/l. Cos the car body/chassis is heavy. Its a solid car. Cruising on the highway was very stable. But if u looking for a quick car off the line, u will be disappointed. 0-100 in 14secs, tried and tested. Suspension setup was good and reassuring, no floaty feeling like in my Toyota Axio.

1st gear to second gear will always have a jerk. Its pretty much the norm.

Interior space was ok but to me a bit cramp cos of my size. Rear leg room behind me is none to speak of.

Boot is big enough to store many shopping stuff and house moving.

Oh ya, I drove my Nissan Sunny all the way to Phuket, Thailand and back 10 years ago.

At 194k, be prepare for an GB overhaul soon if not well maintained by ex owners..

Timing belt or chain? If belt, be prepared to change. To play safe, atf oil also may need to change. Gasket, piston rings may also need to change at this kind of mileage. Fuel consumption wont be good too at 200k km... I wouldn't buy it

How u all know if gear box is not good condition already when u test drive?

1. Make sure no hesitation in gear changes.

2. Lights on the gear stick matches with the one on the driver's display.

3. Look under the car and see if there are oil drips from the GB.

4. There is a dip stick for the GB, pull out it out and check the colour of the oil. Should be fresh looking and not dark black.

When u face the car(Sunny), the GB/torque converter is on ur righthand side.

Not able to check 100%, but these are some simple visual checks.

Thanks bro.

the auto gear when shifting down and up. it is kind of light. Hope this is normal...

But after calculation.. the 194k Mileage seems average and normal..as my previous company van, 2 years already over 60k mileage already

There is an overdrive button near the gear stick. I used it for overtaking purpose. Very fun. Enjoy the sunny if u decide to get it.  [sunny]
