New is about 80plus. I think they should sell at range of 50k odd to attract people to buy

New with full 10yrs coe life span for 83.8k according to sgcarmart.

Almost new with 9yrs coe life span for 77k to 78k?

I still prefer new.lol.....

Then export lor. Every day that they keep, is coe depreciating. Not to mention road tax and parking.

Talk only.

If they export those cars, does it mean they would not lose so much as compared to scrapping?

Although the one year old "new" car price are lower, the annual depreciation based on straight line is similar to or more expensive than brand new cars. And these cars have been unused for a year, may have mechanical problem.

If people don't buy, they will have to export these cars and the COE will be returned to the market - the only loser is Lion City Rental.

How to export. Nobody will take. These cars nothing special and not very expensive in export markets, unless they let go at a huge loss which might as well just turn them to scrap metal.

Actually you can choose the colour and even the car plate from those LCR cars, since they have bought in various colour for the same car model. Lol. To them those cars which have never rented out before is consider new, so should have new car smell and new everything.  [:p]

Still must be cheap enough to buy LCR cars. Cars are not that fragile. Remember you are the 2nd owner and it is a used car regardless of it has been driven or not.

Use the same reason and slap those used cars dealers saying it’s 2nd owner. They low ball you. Then we should likewise low ball back. But in the end, not worth the hassle at the prices they want. Then you have to deal with delayed transfer, kopi money or whatever crap used car dealers like to pull.

Better don’t buy. let it sit there till it.

The big winner is Mazda. Hitting their sales target for the year.

And not forgetting the government on the Taxes.

Tink Uber is just doing it’s corporate due process to it’s investors to test the market on the best price it can recoup on it’s investment

Once the cars are collecting dust after a year, they probably can justify writing off the losses, incl as a provision in their books, the liquidator collect their fee, the Directors get their fees and the corporate game moves on

So the real lelong sale will start probably early to mid next year....

I think even those cars which parked at Big Box, some of the cars also parked until the roof top which is an open area.

If they are selling away those 1-2 year old new car at an attractive price, can consider buying one if looking for used car. Cause i guess 1-2 year old car should not be too cui.

I recently bought a 14 month old Mitshubishi ASX for $23,000 off the retail price of a new one. Perfect condition and warranty still intact.
