Was there a multi-quote function? Not that I can remember of.

If you want to quote many people just use the quote function above (if you're on desktop view), and mention all the usernames inside.

how to do this - quoting 2 persons in one reply? or did you reply to the 2 posts in quick succession (and no-one managed to reply in between them)?

but must remember that every quote only has 15 min to edit, so if no time, faster edit one round to extent 15 min,  and come back later.  [:p]  [laugh]  [laugh]

But I always tick the "do not merge with previous reply" box.  [:p]

Yes, there was a multi quote function which is not available now. With that function, we just click the icon and we can carry o n quoting different posts.

fast fast reply to everyone with an empty quote, after that slowly slowly edit.  [:p]  [laugh]  [laugh]

Now that your mentioned, yes, if you reply in quick succession, it 'auto' multi quotes the post..

Thanks!

I have been to vBulletin or other system forums that have multiquote; you select the multiquote button on all the relevant posts and then the last one you click Quote and it puts all of the quotes in your text box in advance.

Here my solution is to either quote each person one by one and let the forum do the auto aggregate (double-post prevention w/e), or I open a new tab with the quote button for each post and copy in to the first one's box

Neither of those solutions are elegant
