it is still Hyundai, a korean car maker.

Glad Hyundai came a long way since at such short span.

Starting from the Genesis coupe to various rallies and WRC. No doubt they didnt win but its good experience and R&D.

Importantly they know their target market. Those who like a sporty car but not too hardcore.... which is what most of us are...

From some angles, the new i30 I saw in my carpark look like a mark 6 Golf from behind.

I have included a link to the video review, the exhaust with its pop and whistle sound v good through the recording!

This i30N is a so much more proper hot hatch than the Veloster.

I saw the normal i30 hatchback on the roads.. looks ok, not fierce enough, sedated look. I'm sure the i30N will look much better even at stock.

There is this unique sky blue colour of the I30N. My understanding is that the i30n comes with only a manual gearbox now. Let’s see if they will slip in the ZF8HP into i30n

Sales gave an indicative 150k which is 25k more than the Octavia( omv of 26k) . Quite hard to stomach. Unless the omv is substantially higher to justify. But then at 150k, itâs no longer bang for buck.

150k price means its targeted at a niche market segment. Definitely not for the masses

A stick shift 2L hot hatch will always be a niche model, whether its $120K or $150K [hur]

Nice. Must go check it out.

There was a pic earlier at some storage location and it seems to be a shipment of 10 odd pieces only..

Hope more will be available.

Wow! Price is in a good range... probably can come down some more... $130K would be the sweet spot...

141k is a tad over priced given that the stinger is 144k. U.K. prices are 25k and 32k respectively.

Stinger 144k? sure boh? last heard was car expo, 150+
