My old office was at Beach Rd and when I had to bring guests for lunch or dinner

I always took them to Sofra especially when I had Muslim guests.

I have been to this place for almost 20 years.

Ban Heng Harbourfront

Good:

- Nice food, like the roast pork, fried Soon Hock, char siew, etc.

- Reasonably priced buffet

- Good service, clear the empty plates fast and fill up the tea pretty fast too.

- Pretty reasonably price wedding banquets for the budget conscious.  [laugh]

Bad:

- Sometimes hard to book a table, esp weekends

- Worse if there is a wedding dinner.

- Sometimes some dishes can sold out at dinner time

- Not so atas ambience.

Its not reasonably priced but its cheap lol

I would recommend the dim sum better. The dinner ala carte buffet sometimes not good but price wise cant complaint

Actually i find marina bay sand's imperial treasure good.

Have not been to Sofra for many years though i still drive by some time.

is the turkish food still as authentic as when it first opened? i remember their chefs were turkish folks.

many ethic restaurants tend to localise their food to suit sg taste buds and that irks me a lot. if i had wanted sg food, i would not have gone to your restaurant in the first place.
