Eh. Opel is no more conti.

Opel is Korean car now.

The old name is Daewoo if you still remember.

Thatâs explained why their ads claim engineered in Germany.

Quality and reliability is good or not, need feedback from the current owners in next 1-2 years.

I think you mixed up with chevrolet.

Opel under french group now

I think opel is one of german least reliable brand, based on my perception

That's an interesting perception based on? Low volume sales locally perhaps?

I see Vauxhalls everywhere in UK.

I know someone owned zafira and its problematic. Well its a small sample for me to deduce that statement: i could be wrong hahaha

Anyway opel cars are nice and solid, i like

My Superb rear center head rest can only move a tiny bit up, while the2 at the sides can move all the way up. Is this correct?

My RS rear Centre also cannot move up much, probably because more and you cannot see in your rear view.

The Skoda seats seem quite flat, not much side bolsters...

I wish they were flat. I can't get the seat height right because the pressure is either on my thighs or my knees when the height goes up and down.

Thigh portion of seat can be adjusted iirc independent of the seat height. Have you tried adjusting.?

Edit: I should say the seat can be tilted in addition to just up/down vertically.

Yah thigh part can be raised. There are two raising movement, one for thigh and the other one for height adjustment

hi guys,

I'm looking at rapid spaceback 1.4tsi with that price 83k and specs, it seem to be very attractive and value for money

Do you have any feedback or review on it to share pls?

I have shortlisted hyundai i30 at 95k until I came across rapid, which seem to be a car with better specs and price

I am driving rapid spaceback 1.4 now, pick up speed is good, think better than i30 . Suspension may be a little hard, but acceptable. Price wise rapid is cheaper more than 10k, and with five years warranty , can really consider. Scala will be replacing rapid spaceback, but should be more expensive.

Please tell how do we do that for the Octavia? I see from the manual 3 controls: front/back, height and backrest tilt.

To be fair being ubiquitous is not equal to being reliable. PSA cars crawl the streets in France and Perodua and Proton jam Malaysian roads. Doesn't mean sh!t about their reliability..

Daewoo is gone, now they just use locally assembled chevy for the Korean Market

Holden and vauxhall is history, ever since the French brought opel.

Do not think there is for the octavia.

It is pretty much flat.

Cannot find any button that moves the thigh portion up.

If I move the seat high enough, it feels like driving a lorry. lol
