The solar films were intact. No damage whatsoever. Went at around 11am. Ready by 3pm.  I left the car there with them and collect later that day.

You went just for that? Or as part of 1st servicing?

My solar film have a small square-shaped cutout for the IU's adhesive pad to fit. not sure if its the same case for Skoda.

Get SCS to rectify it.

Will live with it till next servicing. Can only hear it if I turn off my radio, which is less than 1% of the time.

Just curious if anyone got SCS to resolve this issue at all.

Do u know where the sound come from? I knew mine was from the IU so its easier for SCS to rectify.

Erm...but how is the conclusion different from what we have discussed earlier?

The conclusion earlier is purely base on ones believe. I'm glad it can be done.

Yes, seems like they cut out a hole for the IU.

It's not very obvious, but if yours has no hole then that's great.

I got vicom to replace my IU holder b4. I was there to witness the entire process. No holes on the solar film. Just 3M tape IU holder to windshield.
