Yeah 4 speed is a little disappointing. Even the aruz is still 4 speed too. Remember watching a YouTube review of aruz, the reviewer was saying for the aruz to hit national highway speed limit the engine rpm is at 3000rpm.

Typical big body small engine... For Aruz. I liked Myvi back seat space. The design looks good. Simple AB car.

Some rear seats looks good with ample leg space.

 

In fact many are not as their thigh support is poor or to say the seats are short with also little inclination that can be uncomfortable over a long journey.

The gearing ratio has been adjusted to suit a 4 speed auto tranny. 

 

Trust me. Old technology is gold, when it comes to gearbox replacement. You can easily get re-cond replacement at a song. 

 

CVT, DST, 9G Tronic all sound cool, but it's also very cool when the gearbox goes kaput. No re-cond alternative. Only brand new that cosst a 5 figure sum..
