I think the shorter wheelbase just doesn't look as handsome as the FT-1 concept, although admirably, most of the styling cues are still there.

Lethal striking looks like the GT86 instead.

I think Supra not the same Class as GTR,it only a Sports Car like the Fairlady,....GTR is near SuperCars Range with over 600Bhp.

They are the same competing range including NSX. Supra was built as the top sports car for Toyota and even to challenge the Ferraris as well during the old days until Lexus sports surfaced. It is also more expensive than GTR. But NSX being the most expensive.

Nope,Supra cannot match NSX....not even close...from the specs, just Fairlady standard.

Fair lady is the Z series. When you compare, the last time Nissan GTR is known as Skyline GTR. The Sky Line GTR also has about the same range of horse power with Supra many years back. Cannot compare to now GTR. Supra stops production while the Skyline GTR becomes GTR. At the current stage for GTR and years of development of course there is an increase of horse power lah. Similar to NSX, in the late 90s and 2000s, NSX also has about that same horse power with Supra and Skyline GTR. Current Civic Type R also makan all the old range. It is the same competing range. Except that NSX resurrected too  and of course again at this age, hp has grown too. As for the new Supra hp, nobody knows will it have a high hp output. But I guess probably not, for they still have Lexus sports like LFA etc and so far they have not produced Toyota cars with high hp output except Lexus. Don't think they will let Toyota makan sales from Lexus and superior hp over lexus sports cars.

Just like Corolla, Lancer, Mazda 3 and Civic etc all are of the same competing range. Camry, Accord, M6, Teana etc another competing range for mid-size sedan. Different specs does not means not in the same range. Sports cars of the same range not necessary compare with hp nia. A lot of it depends on other factors as well as like the design, material, handling, 0 to 100 etc. Anyway, type too much leow and up to you to believe in their history.

You probably forgot the fact that as part of the gentlemen agreement in the 90s all Jap cars max "rated" BHP is 280.

The NSX may be rated at 280bhp but it is a junior supercar designed to battle the F328/348. The mid-engine layout already says a lot about its intent.

The Supra competed in the 300ZX/3000GT/944 arena.

I agree with your final para that BHP is not everything.
