Madhatter said this

"Our objection is because it was built for foreigners, not built for Malaysians. Most Malaysians are unable to buy those flats."

Even if he is wayanging, It feels good if I am Malaysian hearing it.

I wonder what the people wearing white said when they open up Sentosa Cove for bidding by the developers....

:D

so the project will just die half way, become a abandoned white elephant?

best to have a live-in malaysian gf, she will keep you warm at night, buy her a malaysian state car to drive and maintain her reasonably well, she will work harder for you till shiok shiok kou   jurong some say. . .

white elephant is only when Dr M in control, after that it's " hurray hurray, its a holly holliday."

For Malaysia, there is always a dozen backdoors open.

But after you stare at the front door already so scary and you did not commit, who dares to enter their backdoors? Not normal Singaporeans that's for sure.

That would be a more politically acceptable way than slamming the door.
Maybe there is a back door that no one knows about.

In Jeju island they sold condos to mainland Chinese thinking it would be good for the economy.

The mainlanders moved in and only shop in shops owned by mainland Chinese and eat in

restaurants owned by more mainlanders and profits from these business are shipped back

to the mainland. So how do the locals benefit from this? They don't.

:D

Instead of selling them condo they should have only allowed them to stay in hotels and resorts

on a short term basis so they spend money in shops owned by locals and eat in restaurants own

by locals.
