maybe its just me but i feel that the Brazil squad is a bit light on defenders? too bad David Luiz not called up though i still see the evergreen Thiago Silva.

8 defenders including FBs shld be sufficient just that we don't know too much about the Brazilian based defenders Fagner and Geromel.

David Luiz has not played for Chelsea since Jan/Feb if not mistaken so no way for him to get in.

This Brazilian squad doesn't really excite me compared to old Brazilian squads with at least 3 or more star names in each squad. The likes of Gabriel Barbosa aka Gabigol and Lucas Moura who were supposed to be the next generation of Brazilian superstars have gone off the radar leaving only Neymar n Gabriel Jesus to carry the flag for the country who has won the WC the most times. Somehow I feel this squad will go to q-finals at most, we shall see......

somehow when I look at the team, doesn't excite me. But knowing the Germans, they'll probably reach the semis  [laugh]

Im a Starhub cross carriage user for Singtel BPL matches..

apparently after calling in..I was told that if starhib folks renew the contract for 2 years can only watch the match on the handphones and not on TV...

so this makes paying the $94 inevitable if you wish to catch matches live on your 55inch TVs.. [dead]

sad that Chris Smalling not in the mix...

Smalling not a ball playing CB n hence was left out. These days they prefer defenders who can bring the ball out from defence.

It’s the 3rd youngest ever England squad n youngest since 1962.

They lack a playmaker I feel n why need 3 RBs (TAA, Walker, Trippier) n 3 LBs (Rose, Young n, Delph). Abit too light in MF though Young n Delph can play there if needed.

11 defenders (if include Delph and Dier) and some average gk?

England gonna play ultra defensive and pump long ball to Kane? :D
