sometimes i am wondering, some workshop bring in cheap engine oil and can offer $50 for servicing package with no gimmicks. It is reliable? Some may say cheap and as long as the oil meets the required standard. but how many of you all really trust these unknown brand oil that is being used?

50 buks?

I saw 48 buks around my area.

Include vaccum n wash some more

Look like there is a price war going on for car workshop?

With all the API standard, these two oils are in spec. However, we put 4L new oil into my engine and after running 5000km my engine alarm light is on. I go check with the repair shop about it, there are 2L oil left in the engine and the oil is extremely dark and sticky with mud.

Oil don't disappear by 50% in 5000km, unless your engine has a leakage problem.

How can you blame engine oil for leakage ?

Engine oil is not water. It doesn't evaporate, but it does leak or burned away when there's engine problem.
