CNY money. Also a lot of small business owners keep some cash at home in case they need it.

I keep a few hundred dollars on hand most of the time, because I need the cash to do "Pai Dai Chee" (bad things in Hokkien).

First person I thought about when I saw the topic was my sifu.

@enye , people want to know why you would rather keep the 700k under your bed than in the bank.

Have a few k at home for emergency use. For this case, does fire insurance cover the 10k that got burnt to dust?

if they do cover, then SCDF is going to get very busy soon .... [bounce1]  [bounce1]

Singapore so backward how to go cashless

true also ... sometimes got to ask shopping service desk where is the nearest ATM when need to pay for something more than $20 ...

but this can help me not to  overspend :a-good:

I don't think this has anything to do with SCDF. When I first bought my flat, the fire insurance cover furniture, valuables and maybe reno (not too sure).

huh.

lol u in JC or secondary school ar, need this to help control spending?!

No offence, but it's a dead silly reason at our age and above.

Maybe if u like to go casino and only bring 200 dollars there, then that's a valid reason.

what I meant is more fires will be happening if ppl can just claim they are like hoseyboh or enye ... who keep more than 700k under their beds or biscuit tins.
