can hear sound ... hardly can see the car ... LOL

on that stretch the car is closer to the fence where it's covered

that's the racing line before turning into floating platform

Supersonic

F1 Singapore is just around the corner. Anyone interested to watch the show comfortably?

I noticed there is one restaurant (Tenkaichi) from Marina Square have very nice view of F1 racing with outdoor dining space.

For those people who can’t stay outdoor for long also have Aircorn indoor space.

Shopping, toilet, foods,... everything is convenient. For F1 race, they offering,

*Japanese BBQ Buffet with free flow drinks, Ben & Jerry’s ice cream and of course ICE COLD BEER!!!!!!

$100 per person and you can be there from around 6pm to till the race end... what a deal!!

* TVs for F1 race with live telecast(at least 2 TV they set up last time)

*Car park entry pass (easy entry for car park and no traffic jam at all when you go out. Entry must be before 7pm. Direct access to restaurant from Carpark to restaurant by lift)

There are only 2 restaurants have view to F1 race from Marina Square and they(Tenkaichi) has the best place and view with high chairs. You can check on their Facebook page about F1 race video .

With this piece of news, I think the restaurant will be fully booked for the period before National Day.  [laugh]

http://www.espn.co.uk/f1/story/_/id/24271907/daniel-ricciardo-makes-renault-switch-red-bull-2019

bold gamble. He didn't have much choice I think. He would be treated as 2nd class in RBR.

he's scared of the Honda engines Red Bull will be using for next season.

Renault may not have the best engines. But Honda? Just look at Alonso's demise the past 3 years.

Mclaren and Red Bull are well known for refusing to sacrifice aero and packaging for the PU. Tight packing lead to PU coolong issues hence never ending of breakdown. Compare the reliability of STR this year to Mclaren last few years. Also Red Bull to Renault this year.

Being a manufacturer team gave Ferrari and Mercedes the advantage as chassis and PU department can work closely together for the best packaging. Ricciardo is banking on Renault being manufacturer team and the rule change in 2021 which Renault may become a front runner just like when Hamilton moved to Mercedes from Mclaren then.

Honda being proud Japanese, refuse to amend their design and hire outside people according to Mclaren request hence i can see Red Bull breaking down like Mclaren of yesteryears

Vietnam gives green light to F1 race in Hanoi

Still far from confirm.

Dung did not say when a final deal would be signed with Formula One, or when the first race would be held.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc had told Hanoi not to use state budget for building infrastructure for the race, but to invite investment from businesses, Dung added.

"Hanoi authorities have asked people living in the planned area for their opinions about holding the race and they have all shown their support, to attract tourists," Dung said in the statement.

Hope this fuel guzzling, non-env frenly, noise/air/booze polluting event will be the last one this year. Hope the rain to slippery the tracks, result big drama crash on the narrowest part of the track and stop the event early.

Make sense for FCA group. Kimi have a huge fan base which is great for marketing Alfa Romeo. At the same time, Ferrari is also transferring technical personnel to Sauber to make it competitive and they need a proven driver to develop their F1 car. Also Kimi mention before he is not looking to just drive around for fun. So FCA must have propose something attractive to him and that pull him into Sauber project. Rumours are Kimi being offered shares of Sauber F1 team making him the driver and part-owner. At the same time, Ferrari is looking to the future by having a young Leclerc in place. Win win situation for all parties.
