Twincharged

sometimes also feel weak. like recently i'm feeling weak. house work or cleaning up the place is really quite tiring and time consuming.

What me and my wife do is that we some of the housework ourselves but during the holidays, we get those freelance cleaners come and clean up the house cuz there are certain things that we lazy/too tired to do normally. Like every year just before CNY we get the cleaner to come our house for a few days to clean up the hardest parts like the kitchen, storeroom and balcony.

Nod Nod..Kids will grow up accustomed to having a domestic helper around in the house. Simple thing like making one bed and sweeping/moping should start early when they are younger.

yeah, certainly dont want my kids to be moping around :XD:

many people mix up "need" and "want"

for goodness sake, maid and enrichment classes are not "need"

Actually we are not talking about need vs wants.

What we are actually talking about is whether a middle class salary can afford what we think a middle class lifestyle should be like.

Not whole chicken for 10 years, but take back 10 chickens for 10 years.

I think that taxes may be going up and if you complain you struggling, they will point to the article saying "yea struggling. So poor thing cannot afford sailing lessons for children." This is to shut up any grumblings when taxes increase. Anyone grumbling will be seen to be self entitled.

That is what I think might be objective of the article.
