Should be up ... reason LDA new pattern ... lesser demand for e-scooter , the potential buyer might go for motorbike or car .

I really show hand liao, with a total of 18 years of data (I just found an old file of mine - when I started tracking COE price movement in preparation to get a new ride back in 2001, how time flies...). That is all I have, and hopefully reader of this thread will find it useful in some way.

Once again, Best of Luck to those vested. [grouphug] Have a great weekend too. [:)]

From my detailed analysis of the charts.

From Dec 2017 till March 2018.

The trend is really Up-Down-Up-Down...

First bid of the months are all UP.

Second bid of the months are all DOWN.

So this is second round of March, it will be DOWN.

I sense the demand is weak for cars. But demand for motorcycle COE will be strong because the replacement formular used for motorcycle is unfair, because the replacement quota for motorcycle is on Negative rate.

Cat.A = $29,889.

Cat.B = $31,889.

Cat.D = $9,089.

I agree that this month will probably go down, especially for CAT A, based on the trend. However, I will be very surprised if it drops that much!! More likely around the 36K level as I think there is still quite strong demand.

COE trending down...... empty taxis is causing taxi companies to bleed, they’ve stopped purchasing new cabs. Wait till they get rid of the excess cabs.....by the hundreds and thousands, that is your window to change cars; buy cars.

Just be patient, COE will go lower, demand very soft.

On the contrary, taxi business may go up due to tightening of rules of PHVs.

There is a reason why they allow Grab and Uber to be bought by taxi companies.
