Hey everyone,

So I’m new to the forum and was wondering what builds you all could suggest to go up against (but hopefully crush) the new 2018 gt and ss 1le. The Chevy runs 4.1 to the fords 4.4 0-60 and both run mid 12 second quarter mile times. I understand both cars are around 50k usd but I’m looking to spend around 40-45k usd. I was looking at maybe importing the gt-r bnr 32 but with costs up to 35k usd that eats up most of the swap/mod budget. I’m looking for something that’s obviously street legal, most importantly reliable, and something I’m not going to have to spend half of a year looking for a specific model/year so something easy to to find with abundant aftermarket support. Thanks!

Sorry I didnât realize it was Singaporeâs chat, it said general my fault!

So what are you plans?

Mustang or Camaro?

Generally Singapore has only the Mustang, which is just launched in Singapore recently.

There's really no replacement for displacement. What is your build for? Drag strip? Track times? Drifting?

I like the the Charger SRT Hellcat though. So handsome.

Mainly acceleration, something that could beat the 4.1 0-60 and low 12, upper 11 sec 1/4 mile but something that isn’t super stiff and can also handle turn well too and yeah the hellcat is nice but it’s way over my budget

The new 2018 nsx is like $130,000 the old ones are like $35,000

And so are the used vipers which I’m a big fan of and I could mod them but I wanted to hear other people’s builds ideas

That's provided you drive it.

Govt will not stop you from importing LHD car.  Go to 1 Ridley Park & see Ferrari Enzo (which is only in LHD)

Ok.

If self import, it's ok but comes with a cost. But our AD won't bring in.
