Sky Sports report :

Emre Can to have Juventus medical after agreeing four-year deal

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has agreed a four-year deal with Juventus and will have a medical later this week, according to Sky in Italy.

The Germany international's contract with Liverpool expires at the end of this month and he has been free to discuss terms with foreign clubs since January.

Juventus chief executive Giuseppe Marotta said last month: "I'm confident we will be able to announce Emre Can after the Champions League final."

Can came on as a late substitute in the final defeat by Real Madrid and it now seems that was his last appearance for Jurgen Klopp's side.

The 24-year-old struggled with a back injury towards the end of the season and he was left out of Germany's World Cup squad.

Can signed from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014 and has made 167 appearances for Liverpool, scoring 14 goals.

167 appearance but only 14 goals .....  :a-noway:

worst kept secret for the season. He is always going to leave. hafl-suspect the 'back injury" is to stop him from stopping the 1st team for almost 2 months.

Klopp was swift to act with Rabina purchase. He looks every bit an upgrade from Can.  With Keita and Rabina in, the 3-man midfield may look very different in the new season. Henderson, Wij, Milner willl all be completing for the right to start. Lallana and Ox may also be pressured as their attacking midfielder role is also under threat.

And we are not even accounting for Fekir, if he comes on board..

Cristiano Ronaldo's Real Madrid future remains firmly up in the air. Doubts about his next move were cemented pitchside in the Champions League final, with the Portuguese striker announcing immediately after his side won their third straight final: "It's been great being at Real Madrid," adding "I'll speak in the next few days".

"Cristiano will leave"

Since the final in Kiev the stay-or-go rumours have been swirling, and the headline on the front page of today's Record took a firm step forward with: "Cristiano will leave Madrid". According to the Portuguese newspaper the decision has already been made and is now "irreversible".

Florentino Pérez

The reasons for Ronaldo's potential exit all point to his relationship with Real Madrid president Florentino Pérez and his unfulfilled promises and "lack of recognition". Record also revealed that in the event of a move Ronaldo would stay in Europe: "Italy, France or England are the possible destinations," it claims.

Furthermore, Cristiano was far from happy after his agent Jorge Mendes met with the club on Wednesday this week, and, according to to Spanish TV football programme El Chiringuito, the meeting had left the Portuguese player pensive and unhappy about the club’s stance over his future.

He is still good at his age but his bargaining chips are down. If only he is a few years younger, I dun think RM will bat an eye lid to extend.

CR7 may want to leave but which club can pay him as much as RM?

He has to be realistic cos as good as he is, age is against him so frankly I doubt if any club will be able to match his RM wages so end of day, I think he will remain in Madrid unless he is willing to take a pay cut which his big ego surely will not allow.

Exactly. The usual suspects would be

PSG (exchange with Neymar?)

Utd

Man City

He actually didn't play well consistently after signing his last extension, and was used 'carefully' by Zidane for the more important matches and had more rest, so as to conserve his energy for those matches.

So compared to his younger days, he's wanting to play less but earn lots more.

RM would be stupid to agree.

But then again, i hope RM with that dirty scumbag of a player, continues to pay crazy monies, and get poor results, and then in a few years, sink to the bottom of the pit [laugh]

City I doubt Pep wants him.

United maybe but not at that kind of pay even for such a big club as the Red Devils.

PSG the only outlet for him but they are being watched carefully by UEFA for FFP and as such it will only happen if Neymar leaves.
