Man u keeper also onform yesterday. Anyway spurs lose is good. Wait for Wolves to do more damage to Man c haha

DDG was superb, singlehandedly won them the game.

Now start to see the ManU supporters posting on social media

Now it seems Phil can’t get into 11 for Barca.

And rumours are manure want to buy??... hmmm sure ole have 110m to spend now? Hahaha

But pool will stand to lose out on the performance related part of transfer should hat happen.

Around 35m ....

Every 25 league games played—5m ip till 100 games

Win UCL another 5m etc...

Or we just buy him back....

Ask u folks, will you take PC back for say €90million (discount of around 20%, if we disregard the add-ons)?

And if yes, play him where (Now that we line up 4-2-3-1 more often)?

Nope won't like him to be back as his style don't suit us anymore.

In fact his style would hinder our midfield.

Money better spent elsewhere.

To put it simply, i rather have him on the team than not.

He has something none of our players have - An eye for the pass. This one no amount of coaching can help. The one closest is probably Shaqiri. But he certainly ain't at PC level.

Its always a challenge to join Barca. How to unseat the incumbents? I wished he could have stayed one or 2 more seasons. Oh well. This is football/life

actually he's made quite a number of appearances this season, just that i don't think he's automatic starter compared to rakitic and busquets.

Busquets is the holding and Rakitic is damn good. So bit hard to displace him.

maybe if we can win this season, then haha i wouldn't mind eriksen join us.

Under Klopp evolved style of play now, no need for PC type of player.

He prefers energetic, speedy for offense.

More team orientated then play maker

Milner is getting older... perhaps we have a spot next season ...

Prefer a excellent dead ball delivery type of player.

Like Beckham !! =x

VVD is a man mountain. Deliver those balls in and I’m pretty sure he can head it in!!!!!

i think we still need a more creative midfield player. Shaq is good but he unbalances the midfield. gini, fabinho, milner, hendo all are more defensive and don't have that good an eye for a pass.

Keita seems more all action, but maybe don't really craft chances.

Man city has an embarassment of riches in that dept. Bernado, david silvas and also De bruyne (though hes more adept at pure attacking).

Spurs only has Eriksen

Fekir would have been good based on his clips but his knee issue, dunno if we'll ever sign him.

But ... i think more critically is to make sure our defenders return from injury (matip or gomez).
And a dedicated backup to robertson and TAA. Or even someone to displace TAA.

Milner can cover both on a pinch i guess, given he can do every position and fabinho definitely can do RB i guess.

tend to agree.. When Klopp sold Coutinho, he already had a plan to develop the squad without him. Last season, in came Ox who played the no.10 role while keeping the shape of a 4-3-3. This season, Klopp further refined the team to a 4-2-3-1 to move the squad further away from the dependence on a no. 10

For dead balls, we have Trent and Shaq.. so not like we do not have any free kick specialists in the team.  How often can Coutinho score from free kicks.. well, not too many either but most of them are memorable.

To get Coutinho back wont be cheap either. Barca unlikely forced into a fire sales. .although if the player wants out, he can also make things unpleasant.. like what he did with Pool..  just short of the type of ugliness by Suarez.

all in all, I will be surprised if Klopp will take Couinho back. the finances (already spent on VVD and Alisson) also wont make sense too.  the greatest testament why we do not really need him back.. is simply by the fact not alot of fans actually missed coutinho at all..

yes the fullback areas seems abit light at the moment... and some pundits have questioned Clyne's deal which further worsen things.

I suspect Klopp has further plans for these positions which we can only understand later when it is pulled off. For RB ,the 16 yr old Ki will be an option.

For LB, the forgotten man Moreno is (unfortunately) still around. So it is a form of cover but how reliable, I cannot vouch for it.

As you mentioned, Milner can cover both sides so he will be utility man to have around the squad.  Fabinho can only play RB as he has done for Brazil.

the immediate hope is for the injured CB to recover soon.. last game, Matip was on the bench which means he is almost recovered. Gomez likely to return towards end of Jan. Hopefully Lovren isnt too badly injured too.

Most happy to let the PSG, the Barca, the RM have their galacticos.. pool had in the past being building teams around personalities like SG, Suarez, and recently PC.. that ain’t gonna work and has not won pool any Premier League. The last time pool won lots of title.. its the team born out of the DNA YNWA. Having PC back.. naaa. Unless it comes with Messi

these latino players revere the glaticos clubs like Real and Barca. The very fact that he left for Barca thinking that Pool is a less distinguished club already says it all for me..   no need to ask these players to come back cos their hearts will never be loyal enough to Pool.
