The City-Chelsea game was just one of those days, when everything fell into place for City, and everything went wrong for Chelsea. Chelsea were just clueless and had no answers to City's play.

From being the first team to beat City this season in the EPL, this turned out to be the biggest victory in EPL for City this season, and also Chelsea's biggest defeat in the league for >60 yr...

Don't think anybody saw that coming.

But David Luiz must be feeling reminescent of that shell-shocked defeat by Germany in World Cup on home ground in 2014...

Just hope City has used up its luck and will drop some points against the lesser teams who will park the bus from the onset.

This stage is like the final 100m sprint of the 2.4km run, chiong until vomit or collapse at the finishing line...no more depend on luck.

City style of play is speed. And they are really fast and furious.

That was our playing style last season... with commentators kept saying that the Reds were "scoring for fun"..

At the end of the season when pool wins all those goals scored by MC is at most a recording in some stupid historical archive. When MC wins the league it will be remembered

yes....but the prob is pool doesn't hv the squad depth to keep that fast n furious style of play going. sure will burnout. man c on the other hand, has basically 2 first teams, n the rest of the subs r jus as competent. they can sustain this kind of play till the end of the season.

The final acid test will be next weekend going to old trafford.

Get 3 points there, and Pool can have a decent chance of nicking it.

Only thing is ManU has been invigorated since our favourite mgr got the sack... if only he had stayed till end of the season... sigh...

In all honesty, I guess none of the Reds supporters would disagree that Man City has a stronger team on paper with adequate reserves and squad depth to last the distance.

However, that does not mean that Liverpool will not win the League this season. If the richness of clubs is the key to success than Liverpool will not be in the title race now and may not even be qualifying for Champions League. In EPL, Man City, Man United and Chelsea are streets ahead in terms of resources, including cash, as compared to Liverpool.

We, the Reds Supporters, are yearning our lads to do their best now that they are in a position to challenge for the league title. Football is a game played with 11 players, one side of the pitch. So, while LFC cannot be compared with Man City and does not have the squad depth to do so, it is about the strategy to prioritize and rotate players around so that the team stays relatively fresh. On this note, while many may disagree with me, I thought Klopp's decision to place priority on the League and Champions League over fighting across 4 fronts is a logical move.

That way, we will have more rest time between games to keep our players fresh and be focus only on the two competitions instead of 4.

Final note, while Man City's players may appear more superior against LFC individually, it is the collective team effort that LFC have an edge. Since Klopp started his LFC career, the cohesiveness within the team and the willingness of all LFC players to play for one another is the most pleasing aspect of the game to me. Whether it is about defenders going forward to add bite to the attack or the attacking players tracking back to help out defensively, you don't really see this from the richer Man City players. Our forward three were constantly retracking back to help out in defence but how often you get to see the likes of Aguerio, Sterling, Leroy and etc. doing likewise?

City squad not only stronger on paper.

We all acknowledge their squad is stronger on the grass too.

For a smaller squad like Pool just to keep neck and neck with them. LFC are doing a great job.

I hate to admit it, but on Sun night, i saw Aguero and Sterling running back defending, and even fouling Chelsea... if City improves on that front too, then that's another weakness that they're working on.

City's defence is still not fantastic and let's hope that will be their downfall.

I think squad vs squad, City is better than us. But for the starting 11, if we have our best 11 on the pitch playing and on form, we are more than a match for City - as was seen last season. Our attack has been more subdued this season. If our attack can click into gear, then the team can be very formidable.

Well, it's unimaginable before the season started, that we'll be where we are right now. Hope the team can hold their mental strength and raise their game for this last ~3 mth, then finally clinch the much-coveted prize.

Well... we are the only team who can say we will win the league title if we win all the way... not easy.. but hey we are the only team who is truly in control...

Man C has a stronger squad and has better players... and they still have FA cup, league cup, UCL and EPL titles to fight for... Let's hope our less hectic schedule keep all our key players fit...

It's true that City seems peaking its form at this business end of the season and blowing teams away week in week out. It's a scary thought and a journey filled with anxieties for Pool fans for the rest of the remaining games.

Honestly, the fact remains is that they can win 10-0 for each of the remaining games.. Pool just need to do a 1-0 for rest of its games and it will still be champions. So, let's take each game one at a time.

Big big game..

Ole lost his first game in charge and at OT where it was thoroughly beaten by a injury-depleted PSG side who dominated the  game fully.

Key tactic deployed was to man-mark Progba out of the game. He was so frustrated and eventually got himself sent off.

Pool would be greatly encouraged to have greater hope of 3 pts from the game...

Man United vs Liverpool is more than just 3 points.

It's about 3 egos - 1 for coach, 1 for players and 1 for the fans.

Bill Shankly said before -

"Some people think football is a matter of life and death. I don't like that attitude. I can assure them it is much more serious than that."
