2019 Mercedes A class (W177) and Sedan (V177)

This happens to my car whenever I restart the car after initial use, e.g. drive to and park at Destination A. After 30 mins, start the car to drive to Destination B.

 

When driving to B, setting any temp other than LOW will blow HOT air(i.e. setting 17 or 18 degrees doesn't work). I suspect the air-con could be blowing engine heat into the cabin.

 

I think it is both a defect and design issue. My worry is even if go and "repair", the problem will still recur, and worst still what if affect something else ... sigh ... so disappointed with Mercedes ...   

they still dare to say "never stop improving" ... never worsen good already.

 

This is a software issue, you should be able to get an AC update at your workshop in order to fix this!

May I also check whether anyone has used voice commands to type out SMS (via bluetooth connection to phone) on the MBUX screen ? I saw that it works in one of the "New A Class" youtube promo videos.

 

I tried but MBUX says no internet connection.  

 

Manual typing the SMS via MBUX is ok though.

You are referring to sms or using Apple CarPlay to send whatsapp? Mbux told me my phone is not configured to send sms. For whatsapp is ok.

Even I can connect the car to my phone hotspot, no visible difference also.

means no PARF. which you dont get a single cent back after 10 years... straight forward depn of 22.6K/year.

That's untrue, you can still scrap after 10 years to get PARF. But as the original registration date is earlier than COE registration date, you will also get some COE rebate. 10 years for PARF is counted from original registration date.

unfortunately that is the truth and future going forward,

currently, i think there is 3 main "screen display" u can choose

 

can gurantee, comsperm within the next 5 yrs, min 10-20 or your own custom AMG display screen

OP is correct though, if you choose to drive for 10 years you get $0.

Hi yup I sent it back maybe a month or so ago.

 

So far so good.

 

They replaced some climatic unit part.

I am thinking of sending mine in soon as it is now the school holidays period.
