The way pool is playing, one would think a draw is possible.

Ryan Babel did not celebrate his goal.

Better release the Shaq now.

Maybe got chance to chomp out a victory.

Penalty!!

Heng ahh!

Pool scrapped thru with a 2-1 win at Fulham to go top with a game extra played. This stage of the season is about 3 pts even if performance is scrappy.

FA Cup Semi Final draw:

City v Brighton

Wolves v Watford

One of the 2 best teams outside the top 6 will reach the Final n about deserved for their consistent performances throughout the season esp Wolves who hv impressed me each time I watch them.

Supercharged

For Newcastle fans ...

Newcastle has the exact same number of points , win / loss / drawn games , goals scored and goals conceded right now after 31 games as compared to last season after 31 games ...

i dun even want to talk about chelsea. :a-bang:

2 games in hand throw away .

Their passing game reminds me of Spain’s tiki taka which was all about possession n keeping the ball but with no real creativity nor penetration. It worked for Spain in the early days when their players had great movement, creativity n excellent finishing but it became laboured in latter years when a different set of players couldn’t reproduce what their predecessors were capable of doing.

Chelsea just depend on Hazard to work some magic n that Jorginho is neither creative nor able to score goals n is weak defensively but so favoured by Sarri.

England only one no 39.

Scotland so many.

Scotland have smart people

England have aggressive people that conquered other countries like Scotland.

England lives off the hard work of other countries.

It’s true the Scots have a lot of great Mgrs but no. 15 Brian Clough one of the best English Mgrs ever who won 2 European Cups with Forest in the days where $ doesn’t have so much say. That’s a great Mgmt for u!

hmm... who is the first guy?

He was the 1974 Dutch National team Mgr that brought Holland to the WC Final which they lost to West Germany. That Dutch team played total football n was the best team of that generation though didn’t win the WC. I think he was also coach of Barca n Ajax as well. His methods were ahead of his peers n lauded for being innovative. That said, I think Fergie shld be no. 1

humm, quite surprise trapattoni is higher then lippi.

frank rijkaard also can make it??

Lippi won the WC so in that sense he shld be higher placed but Trappatoni n Saachi always considered better as they were shrewd tacticians n did well with limited resources esp Trap. Saachi had Baggio to boost his team.

ok tks!

Holland's total football was indeed innovative. I didn't watch the 74 final but caught the 78 one. It was a real pity that Holland didn't win either of them, and ended up losing finalists both times during their peak. Did they have the same manager both times? If yes, then he must be somebody. Don't think there's (m)any managers bringing their national team to consecutive WC finals.

But never heard of him before leh - so in that sense, i also don't think he can be no. 1.

Much as i don't like Fergie and Utd, i guess it's difficult to argue that he should be no. 1 for what he had achieved. Must give credit where it's due.
