Trouble is Newcastle can’t attract a branded name Mgr as long as Ashley is in charge. No top Mgr will come to a club whose owner runs it like a business n doesn’t support his Mgr with £

 

Bruce may not be a branded name but at least he is a Geordie so he is one of the boys but admittedly his Managerial record is nothing to shout about.

I’m surprised with this transfer as he was England’s first choice RB at last year’s WC though he seem to lose form last season for his club but £20mil seems a snip at today’s prices but for Levy to sanction it, there must be more to it than meets the eye.

 

Separately, Danny Rose also expected to leave as he was left out of Spurs squad to Singapore.
