Week 1 report card would read something like:

 

- City is scary. Resting key players like KDB, Sane, D Silva, Jesus, Kompany, and they overcame Gunners with ease.

- Gunners looks like a WIP. The players simply didn't have the required understanding, with balls being passed to space rather than to teammates umpteen times. Worrying if they don't improve.

- Pool looking good, having strengthened areas where they were obviously weak/weaker in. Hopefully will give City a good run for its $$.

- Chelsea despite the problems that have been documented so much, played surprisingly well - only a week after they were outclassed in the Charity Shield. Don't write them off just yet - if they can hold on to Hazard.

- Spurs didn't need to strengthen the team, but could still get an away win at Newcastle without too much fuss.

- Utd started the season, and while the manager keeps moaning, his mind games didn't detract the players much, and they got the 3 points comfortably.
