Mooncake fairs are happening at ALL major shopping malls like in JB City Square, KSL, Paradigm Mall, Sutera Mall, Aeon Tebrau, Aeon Bukit Indah, Aeon Permas Jaya. etc. They have the same stores in every mall. All the old shops are closing down their shopfront and hotels+restaurants are the ones selling under their brand. Which is weird cuz I doubt they bake their own moon cakes. Laborious in MC making...I watched 阿贤 show last night on a traditional teochew bakery in Malaysia facing dilemma in keeping the good old teochew delicacies going despite the best efforts from his three children. My parents used to like buy and go to try, see which brand nice.
