HI, asking for a friend. Very hard to find a relevant search topic.

His 528i has smoke coming out of bonnet.

brought in to performance, they say i have engine oil leak, coolant leak, radiator spoil, aircon filter torn, battery weak. all need to change

Other than R2D which I'm aware of, are there any specialist WS in other parts of singapore?

The beemer fans are welcome to reply hehe

between juzz4cars and R2D, i will choose R2D

smoke at bonnet is likely due to the rubber gasket hardened+cracks at engine area.

Engine oil leaks to hot turbo part, causing some sizzling of engine oil spills

change cost around $600+ (for F30)

half day job

usually every 3~5 years needs change

performance say radiator spoil. coolant  leak.

could be radiator burst, car over heat, and gasket burn,

then oil come out .

omg, major parts needed to be changed.

[sweatdrop]

but since R2D quoted that price, checking other WS, would be similar +/- i feel.

must see wat gaskets also.

if head gasket burn , with radiator burst.

i think 3.3k is very reasonable

ok to be fair, that's an over the phone quote by R2D based on what performance told him.

My friend is driving down later in the afternoon.

maybe will turn out cheaper
