I droved around in Hokkaido in June this year and everywhere I goes, mostly white colour cars . Even the one I rented, white Toyota Alphard .. You have to experience a typhoon, earth quake yourself, to understand the destructive powers of Mother Nature. Many here just brush it off! 2 yrs ago I was in Taiwan, Tainan for on business trip. Stay in hotel for days due to typhoon. And the good thing the hotel provide free meal for lunch and dinner. Even though not decent, but it show when disasters come. They really show their care.
