The stupider they get the move love and attention you will end up giving

Wait till he starts teething (or maybe now started already) He will chew on lotsa strange things (even plastic bags) apart from wooden furniture legs and will always want us to put our fingers or hands into their mouths

Your dog was a GR right. They are massively into chewing every possible thing.

My dog's breed, think they aren't so much into chewing.

Yeap he chewed anything imaginable and loved to just bite my fingers affectionately every time till he was like 2 years old plus ......miss those days, every few minutes I have to wash my hands

Spend more time with your furkids, do not wait till they are gone. They are angels sent from the top to give you unconditional love. Treasure them. Why spend time updating facebook or reading silly stuff when you can give you doggy a stomach rub.

Went to this dog cafe today. Lot of dogs around. Small place but can't complain. Food is decent standard and reasonably priced. Parking outside is limited though to a few parallel parking lots.

Though I dont approve of owners who don't leash their dogs despite multiple signs saying please leash your dog.

Strictly speaking, not really.

It's not those novelty cafe where there are a lot of resident cats/dogs like overseas.

It's for dog owners to bring their dogs into a shophouse cafe to mingle and socialise. Of course I'm sure no one minds u petting or playing with the dogs. But it's a tad cramped when it's full house cos it's just over 2 shophouse units first floor.

Britain bans puppy and kitten sales by pet shops

we need this law in sg..

I honestly don't see how it really helps? People will just go to the breeder or "online pet shop" directly lor.

Ok maybe it reduces the impulse buying. That's about it.

Abandoned pedigree dogs are not really common in SG. And they get snapped up once they are put up for potential adoption. Like literally within minutes or few hrs.

It helps because there is likely more pet shops than breeders.

If breeders can't sell their puppies or kittens to pet shops, it means they have to house them themselves. Most breeders are home breeders. Ultimately, less space means less ability to generate another batch of kittens puppies, reducing supply and hopefully reducing cases of abandonment.

I am more of a mongrel person, whether cats or dogs so my views might be biased.
