No leh.....money must have gone some where.......just round and round and round..... :D

Political Round Tripping 2 ?
  1. The PAP Town Council Application Software was built by National Computer Systems (NCS) for a princely sum of over $25 million of residents' money.
  2. PAP has sold the rights of the entire computer software managing the Town councils to AIM Pte Ltd for a measly S$140,000 despite spending over $25 million dollars of residents' money building the system
  3. After securing the deal, AIM signed an agreement with PAP town councils whom will pay monthly retainer fees to AIM
  4. AIM then engaged NCS to maintain the system on a retainer basis
Selling $25 million worth of investment for $140,000
AIM was a $2 paid up capital company who has No Full Time Staff (except for 3 directors who are also ex-PAP MPs and 2 Part timer), No Website, No Hardware, No Software, AIM doesn't even have its own mailing address (its address was the same as the PAP’s headquarters’ in Bedok), Yet it was deemed qualified to meet the stringent criteria set by the 14 PAP town councils to be worthy of being awarded the contract to purchase the computer system for just $140,000 (where the $140,000 came from was never explained) which cost almost S$25 million, funded by monthly S&CC collections from residents.

When queried in Parliament on this Matter in 13 May 2013. Minister Khaw retorted ..I accept the point that, in general, the fact that a company had just $2 of paid-up capital must raise a flag... But in this case, AIM is not any ordinary $2 company. It was set up by the PAP ....That is the difference between AIM and any other “$2 company” ....

That crap AIM cost 25m ... hahha

Question: When is a $2 company not a $2 company?

Answer: When it is PAP $2 company.

:D

months and years ago I would agree

BUT

this AIM is backed by PAP who is running the government

so naturally in their perspective it can never fail or bankrupt

despite the fact that it was just set up and just being a shell company.

BUT the issue is not the 2 bucks company but the transactions that placed AHTC at a financial disadvantage position.

BUT for simplicity yes $2 company is a big problem

What do you think?

In Malaysia, they claimed Najib has corrupted the civil service and govt agencies. I think we are not there yet. All these stories on AIM, PA, EM (and what else?), EP, Temasek, etc can be explained with the same $2 argument.

The trio are likely to lose the lawsuit and, if so, will be asked to pay millions to the 2 TCs and their lawyers, even when none of those TC money went to line their own pockets in the first place, i wonder who in their right mind will step forth next?

The lawsuits will make people think twice of coming forth to run. Whatever it is, it is a dark year for Singapore politics.

Those in the 70% who desire electoral competition/ debates but insisted on voting PAP becoz opposition candidates are not up to their "standard" should really re-examine the political landscape and their circular logic and make up their minds. They can continue to turn a blind eye to this bullying while accepting the $2 argument or they can ask what needs to change?
