different topic?

Maybe have a specific thread for your issues rather than posting all over

Aso, there is a dedicated Elantra thread on its own.

Hi all, any fellow 2018 elantra owners experienced my mentioned issues?

1. speedometer error, speedo 8km/h faster than actual speed?

2. crude up and down shifting between gear 4 & 5, more frequent when down from G5 to G4 e.g. when down gear, usually rpm will just drop to around 1650-1750rpm, but i observed that it dropped to 1500rpm instead creating engine brake effect.

first car u own ah bro?

whatever u mentioned v normal leh

You can order it from ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/OEM-steering-Wheel-Remote-Auto-Cruise-Control-Kit-For-HYUNDAI-2017-Elantra-AD-/262534834237

I order it and fix it myself, you can find it in youtube.

Hi, to remove the steering wheel nut or bolt (under the horn area), are u using the same tools provided in the spare tyre compartment? Are they the same size?

Hi wilsonkeat,

I didn't use the tool from the tyre compartment to remove it.

I borrow the tools from my friend's workshop.

I see. Thanks. I hope the diameter of the bolt is same as the one used at the wheel so that I don’t have to buy new one.

If I remember correctly, it took about a month plus before I received my order. Funny that you didn't receive yours.
