Must see specs then.

Mazda 6 standard ard 109k.

Cat b coe at 39k range. 9k more than cat a.

Imho priced too close to mazda 6

Just watch the Mazda6 price skyrocket when the Mazda3 gets introed.

I visited the showroom and they are saying a July presentation for the 3. They are doing $2k refundable down-payment for the 3 at the moment. The Tier 1/2 pricing is weird, but I suppose it's designed for the fact that the car isn't released. The SE mentioned the cars are already in SG but undergoing homologation.

The Ubi Showroom has the Mazda3 LHD US-spec sedan in a back room. SE was saying the SG spec will be similar, but no sunroof on the lower-end model and the rear seats will get Aircon vents (the showroom model has none).

Same as previous poster, nonews on skyactiv-x. SE was confident they wouldn't bring it in at all.

They have a pamphlet for the US-spec in the Ubi Showroom but won't let anyone take it.

There will be no 2L for this new mz3. Only 1.5L.

The prospectus is already available at the showroom

1.5L is too low power for such car look.

who ever buy definitely only care of brand or design.

I really Puik on these previous mz3 1.5 and lancer EX 1.5.

Thanks to our car taxation system we will continue to see decade old 1.6/1.5 engines for another decade if the system doesn't change.

Uniquely Singapore. [laugh]

The previous gen, people are already complaining lack of power.

I still see people nodding the aesthetics with bodykit, etc. Wonder how much hp can it add?

depends what colour. if white or black +5whp if it's red +15whp

if you all serious about modding, then you should look into BBR GTi that does miata stage 1 turbo running 7psi boost. their development car for the stage 1 turbo was a 1.5/2l mazda 3. i did contact them before but sadly they don't have the ecu for the 2.5L SA.

Turbocharged version lo.

Mercedes 1.6t, hyundai 1.6t, bmw 1.5t etc. Before 2013 all these quality for cat a coe, now capped at 130hp so end up go to cat b.

But those lower powered turbo cars below 130hp still pack more punch than classic 1.6l NA. 200nm torque is already equal to 2l NA engine

LOL. So what cars are not underpower ? Going by that even a 2 litre car, or WRX or CTR will be underpower to someone who drives a Ferrari. Those B&B 1.6 litre cars are not underpower. These cars are built and meant to bring people from point A to point b with adequate power to do their job and that is their sole purpose. It is just so relative.
