Last Saturday ST newspaper, already advertised PRE-Expo deals to entice car buyers.

 

Not sure what's the point of this Car Expo, anymore.

 

if got cheaper price, then ok.

 

But it's turning out to be exactly like the IT shows, Comex shows, etc.

 

Just a convenient place where all cars consolidate...however with prices that can be had at anytime of the year!

Car shows are just like IT fairs, too many ppl and not much changes in prices, only plus some freebies. Only good thing is you can see many brands at 1 location. If I buy new car, I will go car show to see all brands then go showroom test drive and sign if ok.

I think its best not to buy at the show. Quota already out and the signs of lower premiums are forecasted. However there will be still be naive buyers

The best time to buy is to wait for COE to drop, not such gimmicks like free front and rear cam, free 3M car mat, free tinted film during such show

The last time i go for this period of expo, i regret for life. Blame it on i didnt hold on to my believe that coe is typically lowest on the period before CNY. So, i should visit the expo on the following year Jan instead. Furthermore, my car EOL is Apr on the following year. I will not made this mistake again
