Any one still prefer to own and enjoy flipping the pages of a physical book made of paper?

Other the Amazon.com, can anyone point me in the direction of where to buy physical books (especially professional text books) online without the exorbitant shipping charges?

Thanks!

Thanks! Was comparing prices at the Amazon.com itself seem like Amazon.com cheaper in pricing especially when shipping is included.

The other website I found is abebooks.com  which sells new and used books. kind of like international carousell for books.

Are you already a specialist in Sports Med? Belong to any professional society? A lot of the time, professional society members get preferential rates on specialty books but you have to buy on their website.

Nope, just doing a post grad diploma in sports med.

I already have access to the tertiary institution's library ebook for the core text but find it tedious to navigate and slow in loading. Also looking for some good coloured anatomy/atlas books to reference along side the text.

Getting old....electronic display is straining my ability to concentrate and assimilate information. :D

Lol. If it's just a good gross anatomy atlas, I like Netter's. What I used in med school.

But it won't have the focus on sports injury imaging that the one I linked to presumably has.

I also miss physical education books.

I like the big ones with the soft covers.

I still got some old ones stored somewhere but a lot of the pages got stuck.

book depository, shipping takes 7 to 10 working days

had compare prices with popular bookshop, the price difference on some books were appalling.

bought a book from book depository at around 11 dollars as compare to 23 dollars from popular

then there was another incident when prices were very similar but the book was pretty worn out in popular and that was the only last copy so rather wait and get a new "virgin" copy

damn those tiko , keep flipping playboy magazine with zero intend to purchase
