If go by cost, being a OPC & COE car owner before, I got the answer already. if car club is nearby just go for car club, now u have BlueSG also Yes, have been an active users. Ditch Car Club and move to Tribe. If we are not touch and go but park and play, the number of hours + mileage, the cost can be more expensive than a daily rental car. Jwee85 5th Gear October 24, 2018 Share October 24, 2018 now that COE is cheap. Its a great idea to own OPC/Weekends cars once again. I am thinking of the Suzuki Jimny.

The main difference between car sharing and daily rental car is that for daily rental car most likely one may need to make a trip down just to collect the car. If car sharing services (eg carclub got quite a lot of collection points at car parks) is available at your neighbourhood, it will be a better option than daily rental car. awhtc 6th Gear October 24, 2018 Share October 24, 2018 It is better to use public transport and take taxi/Grab occasionally if the usage of a private car is low. I enjoy taking public transport (during off-peak hours) for the freedom and relatively ultra low fares when I send my car for servicing. Unfortunately, I need my car for work, which is why I'm still owning one. ↡ Advertisement
