Still waiting for a day when public transport is so damm comfortable, reliable and predictable that even CEOs of SMRT, SBS, Comfort and GRAB also taking public by choice (not including Grab OR taxi).

 

Then COE will be SGD 1 permanently.

Public transport is so damm comfortable, reliable and predictable? Although i would say they did improve a bit but still very very far from what you are waiting lo. Even MRT cannot guaranteed reliable and predictable, i guess buses should never able to achieve this, since bus subjected to so many factors on the road.

I think in today context especially amongst younger generation a car is a symbol of status etc . Even if public transport is comfortable etc we won’t go until the car lire society . Just look at those Facebook dealer selling cars , look at the comment section how many people are asking “PM for 0% DP & 10 year loan” Edited by Ironstarz

can someone advise why CAT B price so hard?

what factor push it all the way up,up,up [hur]

 

Many continental cars are in Cat A, even the Merc A Class, Audi A3 etc.. Even when they are 1.4L coz of the high HP.

Seems like even self-bidders are valuing the Cat.A  quite high.

Haiz...from the way these private bidders in Cat.A.

Seems that the acceptance level is >$21,000.

65th lowest bidder is already willing to pay $20,999 for the piece of paper.

I think to dream for COE to drop below $20k is a far away dream.

it's the time to review the category baseline,  it's 20 years ago standard

it should only consider bhp regardless engine capacity, now 1.4L easily produce more than 130bhp, but in old school 1.8L even cannot hit130bhp, road tax also same based on bhp

Motorcycle is hot too.

The 30th lowest bider is already willing to pay $1,102 for a piece of paper.

Seems like willingness to pay $$$ is strong for motorcycle buyers.

Seems like A-class and Expo car show dont create much demand.

This weekends showroom will have special discounts to draw in more buyers?
