Why not import the skills of roasting good Hong Kong roast goose to our chefs in Singapore?  [laugh]

 

Better don't. Cannot imagine what will happen to the few geese at Botanic Gardens.

Actually. cleaning and prepping a duck is significantly more laborious than prepping say a chicken.

The time u take to prep one duck for braising is quite a lot more compared to say just normal pork or chicken.

 

I wonder if the hawkers take the effort for their usual duck (granted i'm not sure if roasting and braising require the same effort to be taken). I would guess that a goose is roughly the same bird or very similar to a duck.
