Let it go ? A very different situation here compared to a Huawei case. Put it in another angle, why the ang mo country wants to protect another country's criminal. It just show how much respect for one another. Just like our young chap Amos ran elsewhere to get protection. They should have just thrown him back here to face the music. You mean apple will refuse to comply if US govt requests the same? Snowden already exposed the fact that all the us tech companies have given our data to the NSA under the prism program. There's no such thing in China, any low rank engineer can look into your private photos you taken with your small three. I defer to wikipedia's knowledge of this.
