Taking a break - Osaka, Fuji, Hakone

So arrived in Osaka this morning went to lunch at a shopping mall known as Lucua, had beef shabu-shabu

 

On the 10th floor, the entrance of the restaurant

Tofu made by chef from the best beans in Japan, Toyama soya bean

 

Taro from Fukui prefecture, known to be the best in Japan, lightly salted on the top and steamed, remove the skin and enjoy

 

Another way of preparing the Fukui taro - black and white miso on top

Sashimi tofu - super creamy and fragrent

I went up to ashinoko on a day trip yesterday too, but was cloudy in afternoon so didnt get to see Fujisan. However it was snowing :)
