Just wondering if you are using an IU cover to conceal your cash card. I am not using one and while I am driving a friend's car that having the cover, I find it quite inconvenience.

1) can't see the deduction and remaining amount properly

2) can't remove the card easily

3) doesn't the cover hint that a card is in there?

1) can't see the deduction and remaining amount properly - why need to see, when not enough value inside, red light appear and beeping sound

2) can't remove the card easily - not often remove and remove only when value is low

3) doesn't the cover hint that a card is in there? - play safe is always better, let the theft take the chances, try or not to try

I always top up $200 and can use for weeks or months. [drivingcar]

Once i exited the carpark and the charges were $99 when i only parked less than an hour. Glad dont have so much money in the card if not it will be a long process for the refund.

So don't top so much is the best.

Most IU cover would still have an openning to allow one to see the amount. Covering it up would tell people that there might be a card in there, not covering is showing people the card is dilefinitely there. If i have to break a windsscreen , i will maximise my chance to choose one that has 100% certainty Edited by Ct3833

I usually to up $30 per card (I carry 2). But my car came with a reader where you place the card under the reader and there is a fixed flip cover. So far no issue... And I usually park open car park.

There is a screen but somehow will obstruct the view and can't get to see the amount clearly. Normally I will remove the card when park at night in public area. To inform there is no cashcard.

Maybe he want your cartoon cover and cashcard is a bonus.

Since you remove the cash card, you should remove the cover as well to show hand. You dont want to end up in a situation where your windscreen get smashed when you dont even have a cash card in there.

So that bugger interested in your cartoon IU cover la, thats why smashed your windscreen?  :D

Anyway, if you need to drive past ERP gantry daily, if take out cashcard high chance might forgotten to insert back the cashcard. So many people would rather use the IU cover, even though it is like telling the whole world there is a cashcard inside the IU.

If I'm the thief, I will target handbags, laptops which is left on the seats. Or maybe branded car camera or GPS unit?

Rather than cashcard which can't determine value from naked eyes.

True, even there is cashcard inside the IU, the value might left less than $2?  [:p]
