How do I enjoy free roaming services?

Roaming service is available as part of TPG free service trial. You will need to set the Network Selection in your mobile device to 'Automatic' to enable roaming service. As of 16 July 2019, Malaysia Roaming is available and Indonesia Roaming will be enabled once testing is completed.

 

What is included in the roaming plan?

You can enjoy free unlimited data roaming in Malaysia at 1Mbps. If you are using a TPG VoLTE supported mobile device, you will be able to make and receive calls to Singapore mobile and fixed lines from your existing service trial plan.

 

Are outgoing calls to Malaysian mobile and fixed lines supported?

Roaming calls to Malaysia and Indonesia mobile and fixed lines will be available in the near future.

 

What are the charges if I have exceeded my plan limits?

If you have exceeded the usage, the usage type will be barred for the remainder of the monthly billing period except for Data.

 

Will you be extending unlimited data roaming to other countries?

Yes! We will be launching more exciting roaming products.

brother where you get the information on the roaming? not indicated on the website of TPGmobile yet. i was looking around at the support also no indication on the roaming yet. later kana charge ah hahaha

I am here in KL, my TPG sim card still no data roaming. Yesterday tested, no have. The day before tested in Butterworth and Ipoh also no have.

 

How to activate it??? My phone's data roaming is on. Reset the phone 3 times and still no have. [shakehead]

Data roaming manual then use yes 4G

U need to enable data roaming on ur hp or mifi

 

if ur network selection setting in your mobile device is auto, it should connection 2 MY/Indo network automatically

 

if cannot connect to network automatically, try using manual network selection

 

MY will b using YES 4G network

Indo will b using Smartfren network

Already enable data roaming and network selection to automatic. I am using a Samsung S6 phone.

I scanned and YES network not available here in Bukit Bintang, KL.

Base on Wiki...YES 4G oni supports 4G LTE Band 38 & 40 w Band 20 on trial

Samsung S6 dun seems to support any of these 4G LTE bands

On YES 4G website...their list of supported device dun hav Samsung S6

YES 4G is similar to TPG as in they oni support 4G network (no 3G+,3G,2G..etc) and need 2 meet their specific 4G LTE bandwidth requirement for it to work.

realize that i can't seem to call out..

 

data is working well... just can't call.. even to TPG number

only a few selected brands and model can work, also have to set the sim card to allow VoLTE call.

tested TPG data roam from KLIA, along the highway to KL, then at Genting, all good.

 

limit to around 1mbps, good to surf net, send photos on whatsapp, but streaming youtube can be laggy.
