The megacity of Chongqing has added yet another extraordinary piece of architecture to its city skyline with a massive “sky corridor” that stretches across the top of four neighboring skyscrapers.

Placed 250 meters above the ground, the 300-meter-long corridor is the most eye-catching part of the Raffles City Chongqing complex that is currently under construction at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing rivers.

The complex has been designed by renowned Italian-Canadian architect Moshe Safdie who is also known for doing something similar with the design of the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Once it’s completed, the corridor will serve as a viewing deck while also boasting an infinity pool, sky gardens, and various eateries.

I don't understand your complaint as the same designer for MBS designed this. It's not SG's design.

It's like complaining an author's 2nd book resembles his first book so he is a copy cat.

Do you also complain that our singapore eye is copied from the london eye?

I can think of some slight modifications to make it the largest phallic symbol in the world. Who knows how many devotees will go every year!

Frankly, many singapore iconic buildings designed by so call foreign renowned architects, they have similar looking buildings elsewhere in the world.

Like cars, all got 4 wheels and doors lah. Copy here and there are expected. More importantly, are these festure design practical?
