They used to be located at the ground floor of a flat just opposite Hong lim Square. Nice items they sell. Used to work around their old place. "Mee teh" - a bit like sesame paste. Add hot water tho the powder as dessert, very very hard to find.. last store I knew was tan hock seng. That was years ago. Use to also be sold by the old couple at maxwell hawker who sold the deep fried balls. Try if you can.. for old times sake.

Just saw this on ieatishootipost.sg on fb This beh teh soh (pong piah) from a neighbourhood bakery in Marine Terrace is a real hidden gem! It’s made fresh daily and the crust is super shatteringly crisp! It really is one of the best beh teh soh I have come across! Super addictive. $3.50 for a pack of 5. You’d never expect that their beh teh soh is so good as they really look like just another old school neighbourhood bakery selling buns and cakes. Worth the trip! @Bethel Confectionery 56 Marine Terrace.
