Only ate once, not cheap.

Too much msg in soup.

Same here, ate once, didn’t find it reasonably priced, not sure if it’s msg or salt...thirsty like no tomorrow after consumption.

Haolian service staff during that visit too.

Ate there a few times, all arranged by children. A few stocks to choose from. I always went for veggie type. Mix n match your own source. Not bad, though I would not know the price! All paid for! [:)]

Not into hotpot cos of our weather.

Anyway HaiDiLao wins hands down whenever I pass by any branch, the queue is just endless. And I read that they focus a lot on customer service. I personally have never been to any hotpot restaurant.

But looking at govt announcement of further reducing foreign worker quota suddenly a lot of the f&b business must have sian 1/2 and want to give up. IMO they should reduce quota for s-pass and not work permit holders.

For the type of service from haidilao and the food quality.

I am willing to pay a bit more on the price.

Ate haidilao in a few places in China and once in sg all under company meals. Yes service is good. Will never pay for it if was own money. Totally zero value for money in terms of food. I don’t need the extra service fluff. All I want is good value food with decent quality. Edited by Mkl22
